Differential equations form a foundation for mathematical modelling in numerous disciplines. Many real- world systems entail complex dynamics and interactions, making it difficult or even impossible to find exact analytical solutions. Numerical methods allow us to approximate solutions and gain insights into the behavior of these systems. Usually, analytical methods are often restricted to simple geometries and boundary conditions. On the other hand, numerical techniques, such as finite difference and finite element methods are efficient tools that can handle complex geometries and arbitrary boundary conditions. The modelling is incomplete without numerical computations. Computer programming languages are fundamentally effective and efficient instruments for numerical computation, data analysis, algorithm development and numerical simulation and experiments.

To gain in-depth knowledge of the stipulated themes in a single occasion, the proposed school gathers different experts to present essential lectures on recent development in ordinary differential equations (ODEs), partial differential equations (PDEs), numerical techniques in solving them, as well as their applications in mathematical modelling. These lectures are intended to provide for graduate students, junior faculty members and young researchers (MPhil and PhD research students) from Nepal and neighboring countries. The school will be composed of lecture series, presentations and computational exercises. There will be different courses which will cover a variety of topics to accomplish the following learning objectives.

• To enhance participants' knowledge of mathematical modeling on real-life problems by using differential equations.
• To equip participants with skills in computer programming languages for scientific computing.
• To deliver knowledge about numerical schemes (finite difference method and finite element method) for solving ordinary differential equations using computer programming.
• To enable participants for the visualization, interpretation, and stability analysis through scientific computing.
